This is a hands-on Project Manager role that can offer the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of engineering and for a business who are highly regarded for their customer service and quality of work. They have a very strong culture which nurtures excellence and working in partnership.

The company is extremely well established and is currently experiencing a massive period of growth, due to this they are looking to expand their Project Management team and have the need for someone with high level workshop/shop floor delivery. You should have a strong knowledge of assembly focused manufacturing and ensuring timescales are met.

The role and responsibilities:

* Preparation for and management of all project phases and deliverables, including: Briefs, PMPs, schedules, budgets; and maintenance of tracking registers.

* Identification and provision of reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction.

* Support Technical staff and Sales staff in the Quotation Phase with, including preparation of proposals (commercial and technical) and estimates including cost and price.

* Management of Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions.

* Tracking and monitoring progress of all allocated projects in terms of: Time, Cost and Quality.

* Preparation and presentation of financial data including accurate budgeting, forecast updates, cost to complete (CTC) and Final Cost At Completion (FCAC), invoicing profile.

* Management of project resource demand and participation in resource levelling through accurate representation of the demand in the business forecasting system.

* Stakeholder liaison (both internal and external to customer and suppliers). Subcontractor supervision and where necessary generation of Invitations to Tender (ITT), Request for Quotes (RFQ).

About You:

* You will have prior Project experience within the manufacturing or engineering sector and should have worked on the shop floor/workshop

* Hold PRINCE2 or similar qualification

* Ideally qualified to degree level in a relevant electrical or mechanical subject
