Here's how Manager, Safety Surveillance and Risk Management role will help:
  • Act as a Safety Surveillance & Risk Management Lead and provide medical support, where required.
  • Support Safety Surveillance & Risk Management team (SST) to ensure PSRM and Mylan fulfil its legal requirements with regards to Regional and Global Product Safety responsibilities, as assigned to SST.
  • Periodic Safety reports for scheduling, generation, quality and compliance.
  • Provide assistance and train team members about Signal Detection, Risk Management Plan, Labelling Activities, CCDS/RSI, Safety Triggers and Health Authority Responses.
  • Drafting, reviewing Medical Risk Assessment.
  • Liaises with Central & Local Regulatory & PV Departments, Operations, affiliated companies and Mylan drug safety in performance of the above-mentioned tasks.
  • Provide guidance to senior/drug safety technical assistants, senior/drug safety specialist and medical reviewers in various aspects of drug safety and any other Mylan personnel. Writing & update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Here are the minimum qualifications and essential functions for this position:
  • Medical Graduate or post graduate.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience working within Pharmacovigilance.
  • Line management experience.
  • Excellent time management skills and must be able to work to tight timelines.
  • Ability to manage own workload and interact well in a team environment.
  • Must possess computer skills by using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
