Are you ready to help take this Manchester based company Global?

As a Commercial Media Manager, you are naturally proactive and entrepreneurial. I am sure, even on your days off, you trip over clients which you must make mental notes about so that on Monday you can create the strategy to bring them on board. You are burdened with the charisma and charm that makes you the perfect person to secure and grow new and existing revenue streams.

The business has already built a strong and dedicated following within the sports industry. With plenty of media services, they are wanting you to use your experience in media sales to form strong relationships and introduce new companies to the opportunities they can offer them. This is not about PPC and SEO, they have strong social media, advertising, publishing and VoD services that can promote services and products for others, so why not share their success?

Lets bullet point the obvious bits, not that you need this...

Generating new business and nurturing existing relationships -

They are looking for someone who has a proven background in a similar role, so I assume you are already well connected with big names out there. You should know the people to go to and places to attend. Dealing with senior stakeholders is child play to you!

Identifying key growth opportunities -

You should know your clients inside out. Not only are you able to offer them what they want, you should be able to strategically analyse their business and offer additional services that can boost their business.

Creating and executing strategic sales plans & proposals -

This is what your best at right? Along with the Head of Commercial and relevant department managers, you will craft fantastic proposals for clients in order to show them the amazing results you can offer them.

What about you?

You need to enjoy flexible working hours with regular socials. Unescapable sport with TVs on every wall broadcasting Sky Sports, plus trips to Ascot Races, casinos for parties, and a company holiday every year, like Vegas for example! I know, I know, its not for everyone right?

This requires someone who is truly rooted in the media world. Your product knowledge should be solid, and you have spent your career to date building a strong network of connections that you can utilise.
