Asset Finance Broker


Field Based - Midlands & North of England

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 DOE plus an Excellent Commission Structure

This thriving FCA registered organisation has established itself as one of the country's leading Asset Finance Brokers. With impressive and flexible funding options handpicked from a genuine panel of around 50 lenders, each with unique contributions addressing a number of specific markets, they are currently writing circa £50m of asset finance business per year, mainly but not exclusively, to the SME commercial vehicle market.

Refreshingly innovative, the Company is able to deliver exceptional transparent service and funding solutions to businesses. Their extensive knowledge and understanding enables them to deliver bespoke funding offers - even when solutions are not available elsewhere. These solutions are structured to fit the relevant budgets and circumstances, so arrangements such as helping to finance business expansion, deferring VAT, or switching a business to a balloon lease help customers to focus on what they do best. The Company, for its part, provides full back-office support in order to streamline the activities of the Brokers in the field.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the role for the Asset Finance Broker is to promote and develop opportunities with the Company's Financial Services proposition using the exceptional portfolio of funding partners. As a pro-active Finance Broker your activity will include:

* Contributing your own initiatives and ideas for the creation of new business opportunities

* Achieving the required monthly sales targets in terms of volume and retained income

* Utilising, where relevant, your existing customer portfolio to maximise business levels

* The generation of sufficient business development activity to achieve the required level of appointments

* Adherence to company procedures and protocol when selling the product proposition

* Providing accurate completion of required financial documentation

* Establishing and thereafter maintaining excellent working relationships with prospects, clients, and colleagues

You Have

* An in-built drive to succeed and you really enjoy talking to, and meeting with, prospects - developing bespoke finance solutions with outcomes that benefit all parties

* A proven sales track record within the broad scope of the Asset Finance Sector

* The ability to win and develop new business from own initiative

* A demonstrable track record of client retention and development

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* An understanding of funder terms and finance documentation is advantageous

* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

* Excellent self-motivation , working both individually with minimal supervision and also as part of a team

* Competent numeric and literacy skills

* A good understanding of TCF outcomes & Principles for Business (PRIN)

* A valid UK driving licence
