A leading organisation dedicated to delivering a first-class service, providing superior products in racking, shelving, archive storage solutions, partitioning, mezzanines and material handling equipment is looking for a Fitter in Chorley. The role has become available due to recent success and expansion plans and they are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering a quality service, communication and developing relationships. It's also imperative that you fit in with the company culture and can deal with a variety of people at all levels.

This role involves helping to install shelving and racking systems at customer sites. It also involves rack repairs, installing industrial partitioning and wider elements of the client's service/product portfolio. Full uniform and high-quality tools will be provided.

As a Fitter, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing an efficient and effective service for all products and systems.
- Assisting with rack repairs, the installation of Industrial Partitioning and all aspects of Installation.
- Adhering to all aspects of company health and safety procedures.
- Using company vehicles including Fork-Lift Truck and Delivery Vans.
- Using company tools including Wall Saw/Cut off Saws and all other types of machinery and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with all aspects of the QA system.

To be a successful Fitter, you will have the following skills and experiences:

- SEIRS (Storage Equipment Installer Registration Scheme) Training, IPAF/ MEWPS Training would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
- A CSCS card and Fork-Lift Truck Licence, or the willingness to obtain them.
- Experience working on site would be beneficial.
- A good level of physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
- To be a team player with a genuine passion to succeed.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
- Natural communication skills both on the phone and in person.
- The ability to build and manage relationships.
- A minimum of four GCSE's or equivalent including maths and English.
- A full clean UK driving license.

In return, the Fitter will receive a salary of £16,000 - £20,000 per annum plus company benefits including incremental holidays, pension, profit share and team social days.
