Our client, an established educational company, is currently recruiting for an Account Manager with exceptional communication skills to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to stay away from sales and who are more focused on client satisfaction.

Applicants must have 2-3 years' experience within an account management role.

Primary Objectives:

- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients.

- Be the single point of contact for all client queries.

- Matrix manage the provision of excellent client service and delivery.

- Own the collating and reporting information to client.

- Ensure increase in client satisfaction with service, as measured by bi-annual NPS survey.

- Review and management of inaccuracies or queries through to resolving and identification of root cause / prevention.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Client retention

- Proactive tracking and expanding of the client relationship (high risk/low risk) and performing client stakeholder mapping.

- Advise on appropriate programmes, delivery methods, interventions and ensure SLA and KPI requirements are being achieved.

- Agree Pathways including arranging off pathway discussions.

- The initial point of escalation for existing clients, and from these relationships will be expected to develop deeper contact points and understanding of a business.

- Represent the company as the point of contact for a list of allocated client accounts.

- Arrange and run regular Account Reviews/Health Checks as required.

- Ensure clients recieve the service expected. (i.e. service, pass rates, KPI's.)

- Continuously monitor/review client activity in line with service level agreements.

- Contribute and advise on commercial re-negotiation where needed.

- Perform on-site visits to induct or advise clients/trainees in line with service banding where required.

- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Insight gathering

- Gather structured client feedback to the product team on a regular basis and sponsor change initiatives.

- Gather competitor intelligence in a structured manner through interactions with clients/prospective clients and networking opportunities.

The post holder will, in addition, carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the management team. As business requirements change, the job description will evolve.

Required Candidate Skills:

- 2-3 years' experience within an account management role

- Client facing experience - preferably in an accounting or financial services industry

- Target & results driven

- Team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

- Flair, creativity, positivity and tenacity

- Comfortable presenting both remotely and face to face

- Ability to build rapport and maintain strong working relationships with Clients

- Attention to detail

- Comfortable taking accountability

- Tenacity to resolve issues as they arise

- Able to proactively offer guidance and support to Clients

- Strong time and task management skills and experience required

Salary: £27,000

Location: Manchester

Hours: Monday- Friday 9am-5.30pm
