Our Client is looking for an experienced HR Manager to work in a large people based organisation in lovely Carlisle, Cumbria.
The purpose of the job is to develop a deep understanding of the business with an aim to deliver, provide and maintain an effective service and correct working environment for employees. Reporting to the HR Director duties for this exciting position will include;
Support and deliver action plans to the team following surveys.
Ensure policies and procedures are up to date with employment law.
Support and advise managers on complex case loads.
Delivering workshops, managing development schemes and training programmes.
Supporting colleagues to achieve professional status by working with professional bodies.
Develop an annual people plan and ensure maximum number of applicants to the company by using effective recruitment stratergies .
Working with Managers to ensure support of H&S safety.
Monitor team performance, provide one to one feedback on a regular basis and conduct appraisals.
Attending careers fairs to promote the company.

This is initially an interim position with a view to long term possibilities for the right candidate.
