Lead and foster a team of Technical Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programmes.

Main responsibilities are to:
  • Oversee portfolios of projects and programmes, ensuring the successful delivery within time, scope and budget constraints.
  • Lead a team of talented Technical Project Managers, ensuring they receive support, personal development, and are given opportunities to work on new technology projects in line with business needs and strategic direction.
  • Engage with key senior stakeholders where necessary to assist with defining the scope and elicit requirements in order to establish a strategic roadmap.
  • Implement and maintain a Resource Management capability across the ICT team to optimise utilisation and ensure resources aligned to demand
  • Implement and maintain a strategic investment appraisal and decision-making process based on a clear understanding of cost, risk, inter-dependencies, and impact on existing business activities, enabling measurement and objective evaluation of potential changes and the benefits to be realised.
  • Work closely with the Strategy & Architecture team and the Technical Delivery specialists to ensure technical solutions are fit for purpose, use and are aligned to the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Ensure consistent governance is applied, including risk and issue management, across all projects and programmes.

Level Of Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role
  • Must be PRINCE2 certified
  • Degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant technical field
