My client is an exciting, privately-owned business that is growing consistently due to a blend of investment, acquisition, organic-growth and new product innovation. A service provider supporting both the corporate and consumer populations across the UK and Northern Europe, the Group was established after a merger of two businesses and a recent acquisition leading to a Group turnover in excess of £300 million.

Led by an outstanding leadership team with an unequalled track record of business success in the sector, the organisational structure is currently being developed to ensure agile, effective and lean financial & commercial reporting and control. This has led to the identification for a capable and commercial Qualified Accountant to join the team on an interim basis with the responsibility to work with the Executive Team to co-ordinate the cashflow reporting of the Group - bringing together 4 processes into one, effective, intelligent and accurate, automated process.

There has already been a permanent role identified within the business for an ambitious professional with strong reporting & analysis skills and the control and improvement of cash / treasury reporting is the first project that needs to be executed with an ambitious investment programme underway.

It is then envisaged that the role will develop longer term into a more typical FP&A role with ownership over cash & cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, business planning and investment analysis. And in a period where the business actively is looking to grow the experience this opportunity would offer is exceptional.

Reporting to an established and dynamic Group FC, with full access to the Board & Shareholders, this is a superb opportunity to develop your career.

The successful candidate will be Qualified and ideally will have had strong exposure to external audit, transactional services, or FP&A. It is envisaged you will have qualified in practice but have extended your financial modelling and commercial acumen within a commercial role also. Needless to say, first class systems and influencing skills are a given.

Whilst initially an interim role, there is a clear permanent opportunity available for the successful candidate. For candidates committed to interim work it is anticipated the project would last 3-6 months should you not be interested in the permanent position.

Interviews are planned for the first 2 weeks of June so apply now!
