greywolf are currently looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our client in Cambridge on a full time permanent basis. They are looking for an Electronics Engineer to work on new designs fabricated on site.

The Position: This is a varied role and the successful Electronics Engineer shall be responsible for the evaluation and failure analysis, and a general involvement in driving the business forward. Key responsibilities shall include:

* Evaluating new deign

* Analyse failures

* Run semiconductor tests - SMU's, probe stations, LCRs etc

* Data analysis

* Statustical methods

* PCB design

* Solving technical problems

In order to be successful in this role you will need a degree in electronics engineering, physics or similar experience. You will also need:

* Must have a strong knowledge of electronics and its core principles

* Experienced using standard electronics equipment - multi-meter, oscilloscope, pattern-generator etc

* Demonstrable experience with semiconductor test equipment

* Any experience remotely controling instruments through scripting would be an advantage

* Understanding of thin film eletronics would bew beneficial

* Any candidates with experience/knowledge of programming shall be to an advantage

* PCB design

* Able to work in a team

* Strong communication skills

* Able to work to tight deadlines

The salary available for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience, working a 37.5-hour week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Additional benefits included in this role are; 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays, 5% pension, free parking, share options, free lunch once a month.
