Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of a Retail / Catering Store Manager to join our team at our Ellesmere Port branch. This is a full-time permanent contract and the successful candidate will be required to work early morning shifts and weekends.

Our Ellesmere Port store is a busy site, so we are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The salary for this position is up to £27,000 per annum.

Your New Role

Joining our team as our Store Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide their customers with memorable service. You will also be responsible for:
  • Manage all areas of the unit of the business effectively & efficiently and to increase sales and profitability
  • Adhere to manage set KPI's for the store
  • Achievement of budgeted sales, gross profit, wage and controllable cost percentages
  • Building an effective and efficient team - Including recruitment, training, welfare, development & motivation
  • Deliver Stock control in line with targets / Procedure
  • Conduct Periodic Stock checks and ensure compliance as required
  • Producing the correct quantities of product for optimum sales and Minimising waste
  • Adhere to all Cash Control & Cash Handling Procedures
  • Administration - Rotas, production, purchasing, cash reconciliation
  • Health and Safety Store compliance - Including cleanliness
  • Control and Manage of Food Hygiene Practices in line with Company Procedure
  • Building trade and retention of customer
  • Strive to continuously improve Customer relations
  • Implementation of Promotions as advised

The ideal Retail / Catering Store Manager:

In order to be successful for this Retail / Catering Store Manager position, you will need to be highly ambitious, confident and possess excellent customer service skills. Previous managerial experience within a Hospitality, Catering or Coffee shop background is essential. You will also need:
  • Good management skills.
  • Experience of stock ordering.
  • Highly organised, influential and a strong motivator.
  • Good leadership and training skills
  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health & Safety

This is a very fast paced environment in which the successful candidate will be sometimes dealing with stressful situations alongside serving customers and adhering to required timeframes. Ideally you will have solid experience of dealing with food and beverages in a face to face customer environment.
