Tenure: Permanent

Shifts: Weekday shift available

Location: Rotherham

Nicholas Associates (Engineering & Technical) are working with a global manufacturing organisation that delivers high precision machined parts for a CNC Turner in Rotherham.

To apply for this role you will ideally need to have experience of small batched work.

Key Duties of a CNC Turner:

* Able to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised working environment to fulfil the company promise of exceptional customer service

* Experience of verifying and editing CAM programmes in order to ensure components are manufactured to the efficiency standards

* Strictly adhere to safe working practices and highlight any potential hazords

Experience required:

* Previous experience of working in an engineering environment

* Previous experience of setting and operating CNC lathes

* Knowledge of engineering drawings and experience of using meauring equipment

* NVQ Level 2 ( or equivalent ) or above in engineering / manufacturing

* Effective communicator

* Desire to povide exceptional customer service

Salary & Benefits

* £10-12ph

* Up to 30% shift allowance
