Tax Accountant - Rickmansworth (Watford area) - Immediate start - Leading company

Are you an experienced Tax Accountant looking for work in the Hertfordshire area?

Are you looking to work for a leading global company?

Our leading Construction and Facilities client based near Watford are seeking a proven Tax Accountant on a long term contract. Work at the UK head office, you will help play a key role in accountancy operations for the UK business.

* Immediate start

* £300-£350 Per day

* 3 Months Contract

* Excellent working environment

Duties Include:

* Provide support the tax assistant review the quarterly VAT returns for the UK group as prepared by the Operating Units. Ensuring timely submissions and payments.

* Support and provide advice on VAT on a wide range of construction issues mainly coming out of the VAT return preparation.

* Review PSA returns for the UK group as prepared by the Operating Units. Help train the tax assistant to help with the review.

* Review loan account interest calculations for inclusion within the yearly P11ds as prepared by the Global Mobility team.

* Assistance with SMART fuel monthly and yearly calculations

* Assistance with transfer pricing documentation and compliance as requested by our parent company in particular company by company reporting requirements

* Quarterly / Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for tax accounts, specifically corporation tax and RDEC

Experience needed:

* ACA/ACCA or CTA an advantage

* A level or above (or eqiv)

* Proven experience and genuine drive to work with Tax matters

* Immediate to start or short notice
