We are currently seeking a Client Account Manager to join this busy company in Norwich.

This role will involve the Performance Management and Development of the Accounts Team, working closely with the Team Leaders to ensure there is no backlogs of work, whilst maintaining Financial Controls.

It is essential to have strong people management, communication and interpersonal skills to manage a large team, also with sound working knowledge of Excel (including working knowledge of pivot tables & V-Lookup tables). My client is also seeking someone who is AAT qualified or qualified by experience with several years relevant experience of working in an accounting team.

Key responsibilities:
  • To manage the recruitment, training, retention and motivation of employees, in order to develop a committed, high performance team.
  • Overall responsibility for the six-monthly performance appraisals.
  • Managing development plans, poor performance and disciplinary issues.
  • Review processes to suggest improvements to standardise, streamline and simplify.
  • Prepare monthly KPI's and show month on month improvement aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Manage and take full responsibility for the efficient and effective running of the portfolio, including timely and accurate reporting to clients within the specified client deadlines.
  • Effectively manage risk by complying with Company and legislative procedures and controls. Identify problem areas and escalate issues promptly.
