Windows 10/Active Directory Support Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious organisation, located in a beautiful part of Hampshire, in a role that could potentially lead to a permanent role!

Our client are looking for a Support Engineer to join them for 2/3 months initially and be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to hundreds of users.

The chosen candidate will respond to technical enquiries and incidents, recording and prioritising requests effectively, diagnosing and resolving issues remotely or desk side and escalating where necessary. Additionally, you will ensure that all incidents are documented accurately, ensure customers are regularly updated via their internal system, and be part of any ad hoc project work.

You will also set up new users on the system, administer accounts with Active Directory, ensure new users have appropriate access and remove access rights and licenses when employees leave.

Please note: this role is inside IR35, and will be a full time position (37hrs a week) but you may be asked to work anytime between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

To be considered for the role, you will need the following skills and/or experience:
  • Recent experience in a similar role
  • Windows 10
  • Active Directory/Group Policy
  • Office 365 would be beneficial
  • Android Smartphone experience would also be beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
  • ITIL
