Company Overview

A local authority is looking for an experienced ICT Desktop Engineer to join their IT team in Middlesbrough. This is a temporary contract ongoing for 1 year.

Your Package

- Monday - Friday (37 hours)

- £12.35 - £15.93

Your Responsibilities

- Installs or removes hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools
- Conducts tests of the hardware and/or software affected using supplied test procedures and diagnostic tools. Helps to - Resolve problems and faults, and corrects malfunctions
- Undertakes all installation and maintenance work associated with the end user estate (Desktops, Laptops Tablets and - Mobile Phones) both onsite and remote
- Identifies and rectifies a broad range of operational exceptions and error conditions and deals
- Proficient in the frameworks and principles on which networks, systems, equipment and resources are based - Examples: Windows 10, SCCM, UNIX, Oracle, TDM, ATM, TCP/IP.

Your Skills and Experience

- Worked as a desktop engineer previously
- Will be required to travel to supported sites, a full UK driving licence is required and access to a vehicle
