Summary:

Sargent-Disc, an established, vibrant and fast growing financial technology company within the entertainment industry, is looking for a calm, energetic Product Co-ordinator to join the team and share in its success. The Co-ordinator will work with the major US film studios and television networks, UK broadcasters and many independent production companies, to ensure Sargent-Disc's constantly evolving products meet the needs of their productions and users. The post holder will contribute to delivering Sargent-Disc's low carbon Digital Production Office® applications, as well as its Payroll and Production Accounting Services to clients.

Sargent-Disc:

Sargent-Disc is the UK screen industry's largest provider of production management software and services. At the forefront of production, over the last three years alone it has provided services to productions that have been nominated for a total of 87 BAFTAs, 52 Oscars and 41 Golden Globe Awards. Recent film and television credits include Mission Impossible: Fallout, Crazy Rich Asians, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, The Children Act, Game of Thrones, The Crown , Outlander and Ready Player One .

The company also provides expertise and experience to educate current and prospective members of the film industry in areas of best practice such as gender equality, diversity, sustainability and productivity, through a programme of seminars, industry awards, networking events and sponsorship.

Independently certified carbon neutral, Sargent-Disc invests in, and promotes, the use of low carbon technologies, working closely with the BAFTA albert Consortium as an Official Partner to encourage the reduction of carbon on production.

The Digital Production Office® suite of software includes CrewStart™, Payroll, Payslips, Payscales, Digital Purchase Order, Production Card apps, as well as third party industry standard applications - Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling.

Job Description

Main Functions:
  • Product support including:
    • handling product and service enquiries;
    • logging and updating client enquiries in CRM (customer relationship management software);
    • administering client agreements and contracts;
    • generating reports for products and services as required;
    • scheduling face-to-face or online screen sharing conference demos;
    • helping to demonstrate products to prospective clients.
  • Support the Product Manager with the delivery processes for Sargent-Disc's Digital Production Office® suite of applications and other services. For example, CrewStart implementation will include:
    • Documenting customer product feedback.
    • reformatting production paperwork as required;
    • analysing production start paperwork.
  • Become familiar with CrewStart™, other Digital Production Office software and Sargent-Disc services in order to deal with client enquiries.

2. Person Specification

Sargent-Disc is looking for an enthusiastic, calm, well organised Co-ordinator, with good communication skills and an attention to detail to join the company.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities

Essential:
  • Film and/or television production experience
  • Computer literate - an experienced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages.
  • Strong administration skills covering a range of systems and procedures.
  • First class written English, strong drafting skills for clear and professional written communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for good working relationships with external companies, clients, agencies and internally.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of enquiries (by phone and email).
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with a high volume and varied workload.
  • A commitment to developing additional skills.
  • A commitment to the work of Sargent-Disc and an interest in the film and television industries.

Desirable:
  • Educational Qualification: BA Honours Degree or above.
  • Four years production experience.
  • Experience of CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with production software packages.
  • Foreign languages.
