Key Details: I am recruiting for a GMC Registered Physician to join a Commercial Clinical Research environment located in South East London, where the successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a noticeable impact within a world-renowned clinical research organisation providing working with a varied group of international biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.

Further Details about the Role: This opportunity will mean that successful applicants will be based in the Central London state of the art facility at a clinical site that has been synonymous with cutting edge clinical research for over 30 years. As a research physician you will join a close knit team which is headed up by the Medical Director. This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop the skills required for a role in Clinical Research. Research Physicians are given training and guidance to upskill and bridge the gap between a clinical NHS role and a role within clinical research. Specific clinical training will be provided early in your employment and ongoing training is undertaken throughout your time. Furthermore, the opportunity exists for candidates who have completed core training (or equivalent) to register with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and complete PMST.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this Research Physician opportunity to possess good clinical skills and the capacity to apply sound clinical knowledge and judgement. Your previous training should include 4 years post FY2 or a specialty registrar. Fluent in English both oral and written is essential. A good sense of humour and team work is a must.
