Job Summary

To co-ordinate and provide the administration processes, functions and support for all requirements of the NEE/CAS Service.

Building and maintaining relationships with the Management Team, Regional colleagues, CCG, GP practices, Community Services, other healthcare providers and external suppliers.

The post holder's job will be based predominantly at the Colchester Primary Care Centre Office; however there will be requirements to attend the other Primary Care Centres/ Delta on an adhoc basis.
Team work is an integral part of this role, as we are a small but dynamic team.
The post holder has to have the ability to travel to all other sites where services are delivered.

• To act as a point of contact, along with other members of the NEE/CAS team.
• To attend internal meetings to minute take and circulate minutes and monitor and update all action
Plans post meetings to those attended as required.
• To participate in any quality investigations for NEE/CAS
• Telephone answering/filing/faxing and photocopying.
• To ensure the maintenance of administrative systems, including Administration, IT equipment and
stock and uniform ordering, This would include petty case and purchase orders.
• To ensure all site maintenance issues are reported and resolved with the landlord for all NEE locations
• Work with the Management team to assist with audit compilation, investigation and feedback where
• To assist to ensure action is taken both proactively and reactively ensure to cover for the operational
Rota. All queries, allocations, AL updates and changes are completed and amended in an effective
and timely manner.
• Monitor all NEE CAS group inboxes and review and sign off invoices received against rota.
• Send confirmations, request emails, Management Communications and audit results to clinicians as


•Typing, database skills, excellent organisational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail.
•Excellent communication and telephone manner
•Experience in an office environment
•Customer service. Confidence with dealing with and resolving issues or concerns with strong interpersonal skills.
•IT skills, Word, excel, Outlook, power point.
•Able to manipulate and filter data.
•Flexibility of working hours
•Adherence to confidentiality requirements
