We are recruiting for a Global organisation who have an office based in Bracknell. They are seeking a Quoting Specialist to join their team for a 12 month contract that will likely develop into a permanent role.

The Quoting Specialist is responsible for generating, tracking and communicating all quoting activities for new and existing customers. Quoting all vendor products, vendor services and vendor support, company services and company support and any logistics or 3rd party value added service products, for any regional or global opportunity.

Key Responsibilities


* Obtain and review customer documentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.

* Liaising with vendors to ensure pricing contracts are valid and available.

* Production of quotations for customers within agreed SLA's.

* Production and maintenance of pricing catalogues, and development of self-service tools.

* Maintenance of system pricing conditions in the ERP system.

* Maintain a central repository of all contractual sales conditions and sales retentions.

* Generate, co-ordinate and provide customer quotes for all world-wide regions.

* Project co-ordinate large global bids and ensure submission to the customer within the agreed SLA

* Liaise with Vendors and Customers directly to resolve any discrepancies preventing valid quotations from being produced.

* Working with the Vendor to ensure that all special pricing agreements are in place

* Attend meetings/calls where necessary with the vendor or customer to discuss large bids and projects

* Keep customers fully up-to-date with the status of quote requests and queries

* Manage any special bids or pricing projects

* Ensure all pricing agreements and approvals are documented and held in a central repository

Required Skills

* Highly organised with high attention to detail and accuracy

* Adaptable to change

* Strong key relationship-building skills

* Strong Communication skills

* Confident and clear telephone manner

* Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

* Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point

* Experience of using SAP ERP systems

* Be able to review minimum profitability requirements on a transaction level

* Be able to calculate percentages and margins.

* Basic understanding of the sales environment

* Detailed understanding of our contractual agreements with vendors and customers

* Good written and verbal communication essential
