Admissions & Enrolment Manager, Redhill - £27,000 - £30,000

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join this leading vocational College in Surrey. The Admissions and Enrolment Manager's role is key in leading, promoting and ensuring best practice in the recruitment and enrolment of learners on all programmes of study. You will be responsible for motivating and inspiring the team to deliver the highest level of customer service, to meet the College's aims and standards.

What will your working week be like?

With proven experience in admissions and enrolment within Further Education and strong management ability, your responsibilities will include:

Staff Management

* To motivate and inspire the Client Services team to be proactive in the services provided and meet the College's aims and objectives in delivering excellent customer service and timely response to all communication whilst ensuring a seamless service between Client Services, curriculum and support departments.

Enrolments & Admissions

* Manage the day to day College enrolment and admission process for all College students, including school link, HE, Community Learning and those with franchise partners.

* To work in close liaison with Heads of Departments and Course Tutors to ensure students receive prompt and appropriate support to place them on the correct course.

* To support as well as propose initiatives to increase volume of applications and their conversion to secured enrolments on a year on year basis

* To work closely with the Director of Business Development on the coordination of Apprenticeship enrolments, providing advice and guidance to our students and directing those without an employer to other provision.

Careers Guidance

* To coordinate Careers Guidance across College working with Curriculum Departments in giving and supporting Careers Guidance to their students in accordance with best practice.

* To take a lead role in compiling and presenting reports on Careers Guidance

* To support as well as propose initiatives to increase progression of existing students on a year on year basis to enable students to make informed choices about their current learning and future Career plans

Higher Education (HE) / Bursary Advice & Guidance

* To have responsibility for providing advice and support to HE students regarding their application for student loans

* To track and monitor UCAS applications for students applying to ESC via UCAS, engaging with UCAS for HE students applying to ESC and providing weekly update to the Executive team.

Quality Assurance

* Ensure effective, efficient, innovative processes for data collection and systems (including online), communication to students and parent/carers and MIS monitoring returns.

* To maintain appropriate filed records (manual or electronic) to meet audit requirements.

* To produce reports and analyses of enquiries, applications, enrolments and acceptances to the College Directorate when requested.
