This 12 month fixed-term maternity leave cover post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and organised person who has worked on randomised controlled trials (RCTs) or with other relevant study designs to join the Centre for Public Health within Population Health Sciences at Bristol Medical School.

We are seeking an experienced research project manager to fulfil the role of Trial Coordinator for FRANK friends. This is a multicentre RCT to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a school-based peer-led drug prevention intervention. Led by Cardiff University, the trial started in March 2019 and will run over 40 months.

The post holder will work closely with Professors Rona Campbell and Matt Hickman (Co-Applicants - Bristol), Dr James White (Principal Investigator - Cardiff) and his study team. The team in Bristol includes two Research Associates and a research administrator.

The post is 0.5 FTE, typically working Wednesday - Friday, to start by September 2019.: The overall role of trial coordinator is split with another member of staff.
