Are an experienced Mental Health Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist looking for a new role? Do you have a passion for having a positive impact on children's' lives?

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner in the Cambridgeshire area. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours over 5 day, Monday to Friday. The placement will be for an initial period of 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

Job Purpose - Band 6 Community CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner

The post holder will work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team and responsibilities of the position will include:
•Work with universal service professionals to promote and support the emotional health and wellbeing of children, young people and families through contributing to professional consultation and training
•To enhance access to the mental health services for children and young, promoting timely assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention within a multi-agency framework
•Work within a community setting, providing therapeutic mental health assessment and intervention.
•Work within the CPA framework
•Utilise Routine Outcome Measures so to ensure partnership working which is goal specific
•Build and maintain positive relationships with other agencies.
•Support the eradication of stigma associated with mental health services
•Support partnership working through offering children, young people and families choice and flexibility in the service that they receive
•Promote the safety and welfare of service-users and their family
•Co-ordinate and facilitate an appropriate discharge plan
•Maintain a professional attitude so to be a representative of the wider CAMHS service

Essential
•Nursing or Other Relevant Qualification
•NMC/HCPC Registration
•Substantial experience working with children, young people and families.
Desirable
•Previous community experience
•Ability to use and provide clinical supervision
