The Department of Anaesthesia, Acute Pain Management and Critical Care is within the Anaesthesia and Technical Services Directorate which is part of the Surgical Division.

  • Summary of offer: 10 PA's per week. This is a replacement post to maintain the capacity of the department, and the appointed post-holder will join a team of 9 other Consultant Anaesthetists with dedicated sessions on the Critical Care Unit, within a department of 32 Consultant Anaesthetists. The post holder will participate in the out of hours on-call rota for critical care (1:10), and on the basis of mutually agreed arrangements, provide emergency cover for colleagues taking authorised periods of leave. Flexible/part time applications will be considered.
