Hampton's are currently working with a medium sized residential provider who require a Commissioning Manager in the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire region.

Profile:

The Commissioning Manager will be a member of the organisation's commissioning team and will be responsible to the Head of Commissioning. The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for obtaining and managing referrals and placing individual service users within their portfolio of specialist services. In addition, will be responsible for marketing, promotion and communication in relation to what they offer, including expert use of e-marketing, social media and networking.
  • Work closely with the team to manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders, commissioners and partners
  • Represent the organisation at a strategic level as and when appropriate
  • Use their network to identify, investigate and research potential new opportunities, and will feed this back to the team in a professional and timely manner
  • Produce and maintain accurate, professional data in relation to all activity related to their role and will be expected to present and describe data in a competent manner
  • Required to travel across their designated service portfolio to attend meetings; these may be at one our specialist services or a location preferable to the referring partner


Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase occupancy by way of cold contact, e-marketing, networking, external meetings. This will in turn involve referral management and overseeing the placement process from referral to admission.
  • Increase your own, and the organisation's network by way of market mapping work cohesively within a team environment ensuring individual and team targets are achieved.
  • Be aware of all relevant, existing and new developments of a local, regional significance and use this information to form appropriate strategic relationships with key stakeholders; and to pass this information to relevant colleagues
  • Identify and seek out new opportunities for business development and to feedback appropriately and in a timely manner to the Head of Commissioning.
  • Develop and maintain close communications with all members of the Operational Team, to ensure the maximum flow of information, understanding and ideas whilst ensuring the importance of commerciality is achievable within operational parameters.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure that all services within the Region are performing within expected financial parameters. Furthermore this role will involve reviewing placement fees for individuals placed within the designated service portfolio; this will be done in collaboration with the senior management team.
  • Represent the organisation in relevant networks (i.e provider forums) and participate in them in a professional and appropriate way whilst also representing the organisation at internal and external meetings, as agreed by the senior manager.
  • Develop and promote the organisation's "unique selling points" and ensure the principles of the marketing strategy are embedded within your practice.
  • Demonstrate responsibility and leadership for promoting and championing all aspects of equal opportunities by valuing diversity in all areas of work.


Salary: circa £32k (negotiable, dependent on experience)
