Hours: 18.75 per week
Band: 3
Salary: £18,813 to £20,795 pa pro rata

Essential Requirements: A minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent

The post holder will be based with the Acute wards Physiotherapy Team and be focused on providing specialist assessment and treatment for patients with respiratory and mobility/balance problems. You will work closely under the supervision and guidance of the qualified Therapists.

You will provide treatments and rehabilitation of patients, helping them to regain their mobility, balance and functional independence. The role will also include supporting patients in the hydrotherapy pool.

Essential qualifications are a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent and have achieved or working towards a relevant qualification e.g. Qualification Credits Framework (QCF) Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation or equivalent.

You must have excellent communication skills, be able to accept responsibility under supervision, be able to work independently and be an effective team worker. The work is varied and diverse, as well as being physically demanding, which will require good admin and organisational skills.
