Specialist Physiotherapist - MSK Service

Permanent 22.5 hours per week

Band 6

Salary: £30,401-£37,267 pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to work within our out-patient MSK service. We are part of a wider out-patient service, working closely with the Hand and Pelvic Health Team.

The ideal candidate will have specialised interest in musculoskeletal and acute orthopedic rehabilitation working within fracture clinics, virtual fracture clinics and the therapy department. They must have excellent musculoskeletal skills and be willing to share those skills through in-service training. In addition, within this post there is the opportunity to broaden your practice in the field of vestibular and occupational health rehabilitation.

The trust is committed to staff professional development, offering clinical supervision from the band 7 within this clinical area. The provision of clinical education for students from surrounding universities will be expected. We undertake regular in-service training which is provided by the team, Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioners and Consultants in the service.

A flexible approach to day to day tasks is essential, in order to meet the demands of the service. We will offer a supportive and friendly environment and welcome innovative ideas.
