Consultant in Stroke Medicine

As part of our commitment to you, the Trust is offering an enhanced package for Stroke Consultants with 30% of your basic salary paid additionally to you for the first 2 years with the Trust.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals are seeking a Consultant in Stroke Medicine We are searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who wishes to join the team to support the development and delivery of Stroke Services for the Trust. The post-holder will based at the Lincoln Site but will be expected to take part in the Trustwide Stroke On Call Rota which is due to commence early 2019. This will involve some onsite working at the Boston Site for some weekends on call. The Trustwide On Call Rota would operate on a 1:8 basis.

The Stroke Service at ULHT provides a 24/7 thrombolysis service plus rapid access TIA clinics 7 days a week. The Stroke Team are supported by a tier of Acute Care Practitioners who support the delivery of thrombolysis and in-reach into the Emergency Department. There is a full multi-disciplinary team which wraps around the patient including OT's, Physios and SALT colleagues.
