A great opportunity to join a successful £440m turnover integrated NHS Foundation Trust. Our service portfolio includes mental health, intellectual disability and specialist mental health services, community physical health for both adults and children, prison health and our low, medium and high secure hospitals including Rampton Hospital. The Trust is also involved in a number of collaborations in research and innovation with the Institute of Mental Health, the University of Nottingham and other partners.

Our services are provided by 8,900 staff in hospitals, community settings and patients' own homes, predominately in Nottinghamshire, but services are also provided in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.

Hopewood Hospital in Sherwood, Nottingham is a brand new building that opened in June 2018. This new build created a large expansion of our CAMHS service that was previously based at Thorneywood.

The expansion has created 2 further CAMHS wards and an increase in beds from 13 to 32 and is based on site with an education facility for our inpatients, a CAMHS community base with specialist teams and both inpatient and community perinatal teams.

Currently Phoenix Ward has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our team on a fixed term contract.

Phoenix Ward is a busy 12 bedded general acute ward 24 hours a day, providing highly specialist services, 7 days a week, to young people aged 12 to 18, who are experiencing a range of mental health and emotional difficulties. We have a large MDT and lots of opportunity to ensure a wide range of therapeutic intervention.

Further details regarding the essential criteria can be found in the person specification.
