An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Clinical Psychologist within the Vale Royal Adult Mental Health Service. Cheshire and Wirral Partnership is a wonderful organisation to work for and our staff pride themselves on compassion, team work and resilience.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated individual with the clinical skills to work with severe and complex mental health problems, providing assessment; formulation; and intervention for service users referred to our service. Applications from candidates currently on Band 7 Agenda For Change scale will be considered, with the post being available later at the Band 8a following demonstration of suitable expertise and skills as set out within the job description.

The post-holder will form part of a multi-disciplinary team, to include Consultant Psychiatrists; Nurses; Occupational Therapy staff; Social Workers; and Clinical Support Workers, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Please note, external applicants will be required to pay for their Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). Enhanced Disclosure costs £44. Standard Disclosure is £26. Administration fee is £3.50. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment.
