Company and Overall Purpose
Martin & Conley are working in partnership with a global membership organisation in Central London. The overall purpose of the role is to win in-house business and develop and grow exiting accounts - this will be done by building relationships within designated business development accounts and working with other colleagues in the sales team to ensure high quality service delivery.

* Proactively seek new opportunities for future sales
* Communicate event details to all stakeholders
* Respond to client enquiries
* Seek post-event feedback from stakeholders and communicate ideas for improvement
* Research target potential customers and initiate contact with them
* Prepare cost models for all opportunities ensuring profit is maximised
* Maintain records relating to opportunities
* Oversee event administration ensuring first class service delivery
* Regularly update sales forecast and ensure accuracy
* Maintain and update the in-house profit and loss schedule
* Prepare and issue purchase orders
* Daily supervision of colleagues in the Sales Team where needed

What are we looking for?
* A colleague who can bring a consultative approach to the role and 'build out' newly developed accounts
* Clear and professional telephone manner
* Able to write sales proposals in clear and accurate English with appropriate tone
* Confident outward manner and has the gravitas to hold meetings with key decision makers in client businesses
* Able to prioritise work to meet multiple deadlines
* Able to accurately calculate prices, costs and profit
