Barrack Lane Medical Centre is looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist to assist in meeting the growing demand in general practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide care to the patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We welcome applicants with the relevant clinical skills, qualifications and proven experience who feel that they can actively contribute to both high quality patient care and the on-going development of the role with the ability to integrate well.

You would be assisted by a friendly and supportive clinical team of GPs, 5 WTE NPs, ECP, Paramedic and first class nursing, administrative and management support. Pratices work as part of the Primary Care Network in this area.

The successful applicant will be involved in the efficient running of a Medicine Management Team, assisting and supporting the On the Day care of patients and advising staff on medication issues. The Pharmacist will carry out medication reviews, advise patients on their mediation queries and minor ailments over the telephone and face to face, offering a high standard of patient care. This post requires excellent communication and team working skills.

This is a full time position with a salary which will be negotiated depending on knowledge and experience.
