Clinical Fellow with General Medicine, with a special interest in Respiratory

What do we need?

We are looking to appoint new Clinical Fellows with an interest in General Medicine, with a special interest in Respiratory; to work within our dynamic, forward thinking and award winning teams at BSUH NHS Trust. These posts would be particularly suitable for someone with a specialty interest in Respiratory. Applicants must be within 6 months of their CCT date in General Internal or Acute Medicine (or hold a GMC-recognised CCT-equivalent qualification).

Where will you work?

You will be joining a team of clinicians working across 2 sites (Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH), Brighton and Princess Royal Hospital (PRH), Hayward's Heath who all participate in the acute and general medical service, with individual specialty areas of interest and expertise. You will spend 25% of your time in an academic/educational role and remit; which we anticipate will allow you to progress your career.

The Trust has pioneered award winning work (HSJ awards) alongside the Emergency Department with joint working and the development of a single clerking tool and the planned continued development of an "acute floor" department working across specialties treating newly admitted patients.

BSUH values its links with the Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and the post holder will contribute to the teaching and training of both undergraduates and postgraduates.
