Marketing Assistant - Peterborough

Location : Peterborough Hours : Full time, Permanent

The Marketing Assistant has an integral part to play in making sure that our customers receive the very best quality service and correct information through our marketing.

Equally important, the Marketing Assistant will support the team in all marketing activities, and learn the business through constant support and enthusiasm for the business.
You will need to be highly driven and keen to prove yourself in an entrepreneurial business, and in a direct marketing team which is focused on communication and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to management and updating of our internal CRM system, including updating customer records.
  • Provide regular administrative support for printing and dispatching letters and direct mail pieces.
  • Proof read regular marketing pieces to support all members of the Marketing team.
  • Support the Marketing team by helping create basic campaign assets.
  • Manage and update the marketing calendar with campaign deadlines, to ensure the marketing team are kept informed.
  • Contact our business partners and trainers to book in regular promotions
  • Request, collect and compile all key monthly report information from each team member for the monthly marketing report.
  • Attend all scheduled marketing meetings and gather the key actions via minutes and circulate to the team members.
  • Attend meetings at the request of the Head Of Marketing to record key information and outcomes.
  • Create and circulate internal systems documentation to the Marketing team when requested by the Head of Marketing.
  • Support the customer-facing side of the team where required.
  • To learn the basics of our direct marketing campaigns in order to develop your knowledge and support the team where required.

Key Result Areas:

  • Ensuring all marketing pieces in which you are involved are delivered to the right customers with correct information.
  • Ensure all customer information, CRM entries and campaign assets are updated with correct information when required.
  • Ensure all important information discussed in meeting which you are asked to attend is recorded and disseminated to relevant team members in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all regular reports from the marketing team are collated and delivered to the Head of Marketing on time.
