Manager Operations, Plant Lead, ElstreeThe Manager Operations, Plant Lead will lead and manage the Operations business units in the Elstree site. This responsibility includes the following key activities:Delivering on all Elstree Quality, Service, TTM, Cost and Safety goalsEnsuring that there is a manufacturing strategy that aligns with the Joint Replacement Division's current and future business needs and is in line with GQO strategyEnsuring a high level of people engagement and talent management within the operations functionsAssume the responsibility of the local site lead/plant managerDelivering on all Quality, Service, TTM, Cost and Safety goalsEnsure local site goals are aligned with each of the Joint Replacement Division's goals and are being achieved.Develop, implement and sustain all appropriate reviews and processes necessary to achieve required performance.Ownership of all budgeting and projection processes for the facility and ensuring our financial commitments are met.Ensure that appropriate processes around continuous improvement, manufacturing excellence are established and implemented.Ensure site capacity requirements are met- equipment and building requirements, org structure design.Appropriate EHS standards and processes are in place.The "look and feel" of the facility being at levels of excellence.Ensuring that there is an appropriate integration plan and manufacturing strategy that aligns with the Joint Replacement Division's current and future business needs and is in line with GQO strategy:Lead the development and execution of a site mission as defined by GQO strategy.Excellent collaborative and trusting relationships with key division stakeholders.New product development and new product introductions are being appropriately supported, resourced and implemented.Ensuring a high level of people engagement and talent development within the Operations functionEnsure a culture and work environment that fosters high levels of trust, diversity, inclusiveness, commitment, high performance and accountability.Ensure that appropriate talent management strategies are in pace and executed locally to ensure recruitment, development and retention of top talent.Lead a robust Employee Engagement action planning process.Degree in Engineering or Business discipline or 8+ years of operational leadership experience and a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a regulated industry.Demonstrated success in project management.Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing excellence and experience in successful implementation of significant change management initiatives.Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of creating a high trust, collaboration, high performance and engaging work environment.Excellent presentation, communication, influencing and facilitation skills.Work From Home: NoTravel Percentage: NoneStryker is one of the world's leading medical technology companies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
