Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant

Modis' Oracle ERP Team is proud to be working alongside a market leading Oracle Partner & Consultancy who are implementing a major plan to expand their Oracle HCM team to work on their rapidly expanding Oracle Cloud project portfolio.

They're currently on the lookout for a talented Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant to join their expanding team and take part in a number of client facing & configuration activities. The demand for Oracle Cloud skills is growing as the market trend for project continues in the direction of 'EBS to Cloud' & Greenfield Oracle Cloud projects and these guys are at the forefront of a competitive market when it comes to winning & successfully implementing Oracle Cloud projects.

You will be joining a respected and established team with industry prestige which will be an excellent step forward in your career progression, no matter what stage of you're career you are at. Although you will be joining the Oracle Cloud HCM team, this company has a strong footprint in the Oracle Cloud Financials market too (Financials, Procurement, PPM etc.) and you will be collaborating and liaising closely with this team on joint Oracle Cloud HCM & Finance projects. This technology company will enable you to develop & learn Oracle Cloud HCM skills with cutting edge technology and allow you to work on some of the biggest global projects across a variety of industry sectors.

Role

As an Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant you will be covering a variety of tasks and functions, namely the following:
  • Stakeholder management - you will be working closely with the company's client base and will develop lasting relationships with clients, manage the client's expectations & addressing the client's needs.
  • Requirement gathering - you will be part of a team that will gather requirements to ensure that the design phase of the project aligns with the client's expectations, therefore guaranteeing a successful implementation and a happy customer.
  • Problem solving - you will provide solutions to problems of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Workshops - you will lead / be part of a team that leads client facing meetings & workshops.
  • Oracle Cloud - you will design, configure & test various Oracle Cloud HCM modules and processes through to successful deployment and post go-live support.
  • Solution design - developing end to end solutions using the best industry practise, combined with understanding the various functional options available within the product.

Candidate

In order to successfully complete & deliver the tasks above, there is a minimum expectation in order to be considered for this role:
  • Oracle EBS / Cloud - hands-on experience on at least 1 Oracle EBS or Cloud project using Oracle Payroll
  • Configuration - this is a hands-on role so experience of configuration is required
  • Communication - this is a 'people' role, so strong written & verbal communication is a must.
  • Travel - the client wins projects across the UK and some travel to client sites is essential.
