ICT/Computing Teacher

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced or newly qualified ICT/Computing Teacher to work at a great modern Secondary School in West London. This role will be an ongoing long term role from September 2019 - July 2020.

The School

This secondary school, located in the borough of Hillingdon, are looking to recruit an experienced or newly Qualified ICT/Computing Teacher for September 2019. The school has spent a lot of money upgrading its facilities on new buildings and refurbishment providing a new Performing Arts Block, new Science Laboratories, a new Art & Design building and the Sixth Form Common Room. Further to this in 2014, another £2.5 million was spent on refurbishing the sport and playing fields.

The school is also Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' for every category and they state in their report "The school is outstanding with students reaching standards consistently well above average" and "Teaching and learning are outstanding. Students spoke of the quality of relationships with their teachers and directly linked this to better learning, behaviour and enjoyment of lessons." This shows they have a great team of support for both experienced and NQT teachers.

ICT/Computing Teacher

The school is looking to appoint a talented and dynamic ICT and Computing Teacher to add to their highly successful department. The will involve planning, preparing and teaching ICT/Computing up to Alevel. The successful teacher must have a previous track record of raising attainment in order to be shortlisted for interview.

To be considered for this ICT/Computing Teacher role you must have:

·Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

·PGCE in ICT/Computing
