Reporting to the Product Manager, the Senior Product Management Executive is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, support and most importantly, our customers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Senior Product Management Executives' job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

We are looking for somebody with experience in a Product Management, Marketing or Business Development role. Some sales experience would be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate success defining and launching excellent products to market in an industrial business to business, global, multi-channel environment.

You will need a technical background, with experience in electro-mechanical products and knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes within food, beverage, downstream oil & gas and healthcare sectors.

The ideal person will be degree qualified in a relevant area and ideally with Engineering, Product Management or Marketing discipline.

Key areas of Responsibility & focus:

  • Plan and lead regular contact with Operating Companies and customers and undertake/propose market intelligence investigations to understand current and future customer needs for Condensate Management products and the support required for successful implementation and adoption. This activity will include the requirement for occasional overseas travel.
  • Work with Group Industry Managers to identify potential product developments. Develop individual product and product range strategies and proactively identify and support sales growth of those products and support the development and implementation of Condensate Management strategy.

  • Creation of customer value propositions
  • Active member of new product introduction teams including attendance and input to gate review meetings, development of technical specifications
  • Management of product ranges, development of roadmaps and strategies to include rationalisation and potential phase out proposals

  • Work with Group Marketing team to manage the production of sales collateral such as sales brochures, sales tools and training material to support successful sales growth and adoption.
  • Plan, lead and organisation of events such as conferences, training and product launch events.
  • Provide business development support to Operating Companies and assist them with Sales and Marketing planning and go to market strategies.
  • Support key account management activities when required.

  • Stand in for the Condensate Management Product Manager in strategic and planning meetings where necessary.
  • Explore and develop strategic alliances and partnerships to support the strategic growth of the business. Take responsibility for managing and nurturing these alliances and partnerships.
  • Support the acquisition process, make recommendations for and provide input to, when appropriate.
  • Effectively work and communicate with Global Condensate Management Drivers to cultivate a pro-active Group community that supports and challenges each other.
  • Influence operating companies to utilise products and associated sales collateral to reduce duplication of effort and improve business efficiencies.
  • Presenting Condensate Management strategy and new product development projects and proposals.

To be successful, you will demonstrate ability in the following:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; a second language would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • You will need to have had man management experience and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Basic financial/commercial skills. Understanding of Gross Profit, Net Profit, margins/mark-ups, overhead recovery and pricing.
  • Ability to work with Customers, Engineering and Software Teams to create detailed Customer Requirement Specifications/ User Scenarios. This includes Voice of Customer and win/loss analysis.

This will be an office based role in Cheltenham, with global business travel. You must be able to travel 20% of the time, including overseas travel.
