This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our busy and demanding team at Milton Keynes College.

You will be directly responsible for the line management of 4 talented and professional individuals and therefore you will be able to demonstrate your outstanding people management skills within this role.

The Marketing & Communications department are responsible for delivering a multitude of activity and is a hub of creativity. The team are responsible for ensuring that we maximise our visibility to potential future students through a variety of events and campaigns. This is a varied department with a diverse range of tasks; generating creative graphic design, maximising social media output, creating exciting events, liaising with local schools and much more.

The Marketing Manager is accountable for the operational management of key student marketing campaigns ensuring that all activities including PR, digital, events and collateral are delivered on time, on brand and to an exceptionally high standard. Delivering integrated marketing plans, taking briefs and providing effective solutions to a wide range of stakeholders is a daily occurrence so the successful candidate must be someone who can think quickly on their feet and handle a large volume of projects simultaneously.

Location: Chaffron Way Campus
Hours: 37 hours per week, Fixed term until August 2020 (Part time hours would be considered)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

As the successful candidate you will have

CIM, IDM or other relevant marketing qualification - or be willing to work towards

A range of experience in a communications or marketing environment

Significant experience in leading marketing campaigns

The ability to write strong, engaging content for multiple audiences

Knowledge of social media, PR processes and email software

Excellent attention to detail

Experience engaging with internal stake holders and senior management
