Location: Dover / River CT17

Contract type_ full time 37 or 45 hours per week / bank

Salary: GBP 16,546 based on 37 hours / GBP 20,124 based on 45 hours / GBP 8.60 per hour

Where will I be working?

You will be part of a small and highly specialised team which is committed to supporting people, supporting a person who experiences autism who will at times display behaviour which can be described as challenging. This is a hands-on job in which no two days are the same duties will include supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out, or going away. Supporting with medication, health and anxiety management.




What skills and qualities do I need to have?

Whilst knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs would be beneficial, it isn't essential. What is essential is that you are_
  • Passionate, caring and enthusiastic
  • Flexible, patient and non-judgemental
  • A great team player with lots of energy
  • Able to demonstrate good communication skills
  • Able to complete the physical aspects of the role such walking for long distances.


Shift Patterns

This is a 24 hour service, therefore flexibility is essential. You will be working a range of shifts from 7_30am to 3_00pm and 3_00 pm to 10_00pm, waking nights, some weekends.
