Channel Sales Manager, Industrial Automation

Job Description

A leading solutions provider of advanced networking to enable industrial automation solutions enabling IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). Purpose of this Position:

1. Responsible for complete execution of the channel strategy. Managing business relationships with key, selected channel partners within an assigned region.

2. Channel incorporates Distributors, System Integrators and Resellers

3. The Channel Sales Manager - (CSM) represents our client to their key partners, negotiates joint business objectives, devises plans to achieve them and controls the execution.

4. The CSM cooperates with Vertical Markets team to identify opportunities, close sales and ensure fulfilment by assigned channel partners.

5. The CSM works with the partners to grow and maintain sales, develop marketing, technical and other capabilities that enable customer satisfaction.

1. To achieve the overall revenue and growth targets by executing agreed channel strategy, build and maintain high level of trust and cooperation with channel partners in the assigned region.

2. To establish focal point of contact for all channel related.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Achieve and exceed sales quota and business targets within the assigned Area.

2. Execute channel strategy in the assigned Area and implement necessary critical tasks.

3. Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy, identify opportunities and areas for improvement, suggesting and implementing approved corrective measures.

4. Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters for selected channel partners within the assigned territory, as well as act as a trusted advisor for these partners.

5. Continually monitor the performance and competency level of distributors. Conduct regular review of the progress in the plan execution and provide periodic update on the status to key stakeholders.

6. Collaborate with sales operations, PMM, technical support, marketing, FAE and finance teams to ensure proper support and development of channel partners.

7. Collaborate with the Vertical Markets and Strategic Account teams on business with key and preferred accounts served by distributors in the assigned Area.

8. Embrace core values and operate in accordance with them.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience

2. Professional Certificates/Licenses: Driver's license

3. Language: Fluent (written and spoken) in English & German

Experience

1. 5-8 years of working experience

2. At least 5 years of sales experience

3. Familiar with European industrial market and business practice, management and account development
