Are you an experienced and motivated Key Stage 2 teacher looking to take up a maternity cover from September 2019?

An Outstanding, Independent school in Waltham Forest is looking for an exceptional Primary (more than likely Year 3) teacher for a September start.

This coveted role commences in September and the school can offer long-term rates of between £150 -£180, depending on experience.

As the successful applicant, you will have good knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and a firm commitment to supporting all the children in your class. You will help pupils meet high standards of behaviour, appearance and punctuality, and a purposeful attitude to work. At all times, you will be expected to uphold the good name of the school and maintain confidentiality.

This small but lively school is in walking distance of the Overground and close to a large park.

The school are looking for a Primary teacher who possesses the following qualities:

• Recent experience of teaching Year 3 in an independent or mainstream primary school

• Sound knowledge and understanding of the British UK Curriculum

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that will meet the needs of all the children irrespective of ability

• Sympathy to the ethos of the school

Job Requirements:

• Hold QTS status or equivalent Primary teaching qualification

• Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points

• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

• You must have the legal right to work in the UK

• Recent experience of teaching Year 3
