A new requirement has arisen within a very successful and highly reputable Financial Planning organisation, who provide advice to a wide range of ultra high net worth clients, for a Trainee Financial Planning Assistant to join their team.

The main focus of the role is to support a team of experienced financial planners, by means of:
    • Acting as a first point of contact for all Clients: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
    • Managing Client relationships
    • Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the Planner
    • Reminding the Planner of important tasks and deadlines.
    • Keeping track of work flows in Tech Admin and Paraplanning
    • Ensuring the accuracy of reports
    • Ensuring that reports are delivered to Planners and Clients on time.
    • Preparing for Client meetings, collating required information for reports from Paraplanning and Tech Admin.
    • Maintaining the accuracy of the Clients KYC record, via the firm's systems and processes
    • Maintaining procedures/administrative systems
    • Carrying out background research for new and existing Clients
    • Meeting and greeting visitors
    • Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, within the processes as laid out by the firm.
    • Corresponding on behalf of the Planner
    • Producing valuations and any other relevant documentation for the Client and Planner
    • Arranging travel plans for the Planner
    • Attending Client meetings, and acting as note taker during the meeting
    • Ensuring the Planner is well prepared for meetings
    • Liaising with Clients, suppliers and other staff.
    • Carrying out specific projects and research
