Are you a History Teacher looking for a teaching role?

This is a permanent role for September 2019.

We are looking for either a NQT or someone who has a vast amount of experience working within secondary schools teaching History.

Responsibilities:

* Create a secure, caring and stimulating environment where the children see learning as purposeful, challenging and enjoyable

* Provide an independent approach to learning based on first-hand experiences which open up natural curiosity

* Dedicate yourself and take every opportunity to expand every child's learning experience

* Promote and support the children as independent learners

* Encourage children to develop a sense of responsibility and respect for their school, the wider community, and the environment

* Have clear routines for the daily management of resources, work areas and children's belongings

Requirements:

* Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)

* Have experience in a similar role

* Be resilient and have a determined approach

* Be able to engage with a wide range of pupils

* Have fantastic communication skills, and not be afraid to voice new ideas
