Senior Project Manager - Dumfries - £45k - £50k - Car / Car Allowance - 31 Days Holiday - Market Leading & Rapidly Expanding Business - Water Industry

V7 Recruitment are currently working in partnership with an M+E market leader who are involved in 90% of water frameworks around the UK. Due to rapid expansion and growth through continuous contract wins, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the business and support in their Northern Operations.

The person must be a dynamic Senior Project Manager who is able to manage and lead the project team, site labour and internal departments. They will be involved in the refurbishment and installation projects mainly around the Scottish Water and United Utilities area.

This role will involve significant project planning, customer liaison, leadership and good management of engineering project teams including project and service engineers working with and repairing wastewater equipment for Water Utility companies in the UK.

Responsibilities

* Take ownership of all assigned jobs and lead the Projects Team to deliver them.

* Coordinate all Hailsham activities and be responsible for the effective management of all assigned projects within the Hailsham area of responsibility to deliver a quality service which meets or exceeds customer's expectations.

* Carry out site inspections/visits and compile survey reports for quotations.

* Ensure that you and your project managers initiate, plan, execute, control and closeout projects to meet defined project parameters and use/update all jobs on the Company software (Enterprise) regularly.

* Provide specific job costings and implement financial controls where needed.

* Maximise sales opportunities by offering innovative solutions to customers and encouraging all personnel to do the same.

* To be responsible for the profit and loss of the projects.

Qualifications

* Engineering qualified ideally to Degree/HND or equivalent experience considered.

* Project management trained.

* Confined spaces to City and Guilds (desirable).

* Manual handling qualification (desirable).

* SMSTS - Site safety management (Min).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

* Sound knowledge of Industrial mechanical / electrical installation and maintenance

* Project management, planning and coordination.

* Ability to carry out site inspections and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.

* Excellent financial and commercial understanding/mindset

* Some years' experience working on industrial equipment/engineering equipment.

* Some years' experience of managing a team for successful delivery of time critical engineering projects.

* Water industry/environmental experience.

* Installation, commissioning and setting up of mechanical/electrical equipment and controls.

* Managing Contracts (NEC3 etc.). THIS IS A MUST

The Package

* 40 hour week (Monday to Friday)

* 23 days pa plus Bank Holidays

* £45k - £50k pa depending on experience
