Bydd deilydd y swydd yn gweithio gyda'r Uwch Ymarferydd Ffisiotherapi i ddatblygu gwasanaeth o ansawdd uchel ar draws BIPBC, a'i ddarparu.

Bydd gofyn i ddeilydd y swydd gefnogi Arweinydd Tîm y Safle drwy reoli'r tîm ffisiotherapi i gleifion mewnol yn weithredol yn cynnwys bob rhan o lywodraethu clinigol o ddydd i ddydd. Yn ychwanegol, bydd deilydd y swydd yn cefnogi Arweinydd Tîm y Safle i hyrwyddo datblygu a darparu gwasanaethau ffisiotherapi yn yr adran feddygol yn cynnwys casglu metrig y Gwasanaeth Therapi.


Bydd gan ddeilydd y swydd wybodaeth eang ond manwl am sgiliau adsefydlu, ac yn gallu sicrhau darparu ymyriadau priodol i ymateb i anghenion y cleifion a'r bwrdd iechyd.

Acute Rehabilitation; Discharge and Prevention - B7 Physiotherapist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced and operationally capable clinical leader who is able to address and manage a wide range of acute clinical scenarios in order to ensure that Physiotherapy services are delivered effectively and efficiently across the Ysbyty Gwynedd site. They will work with the Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist to develop and deliver a high quality service throughout BCUHB.

The post holder will be required to support the Site Team Leader by operationally managing the In- patient physiotherapy team including all components of clinical governance on a day to day basis. In addition, the post holder will support the Site Team Lead to promote the development and delivery of physiotherapy services within the medical section including collection of Therapy Service metrics.

The post holder will have a broad yet detailed knowledge of rehabilitation skills and be able to ensure delivery of appropriate intervention in response to the needs of the patients and the health board.

The post holder will offer clinical leadership across all aspects of hospital-based rehabilitation, ensuring close liaison with community colleagues, partners across the health board and partners from non-health services.

They will be responsible for:
  • Development and delivery of high quality service across Area West in line with clinical governance.
  • Assessment and management of complex patients;
  • Develop opportunities for practice, which extends the scope of traditional physiotherapy.
  • Training and support of physiotherapists and support staff to deliver high quality, evidence based service provision
  • Governance arrangements within their specialty area.

The physiotherapy service in BCUHB offers a whole career pathway to Band 8A as a clinical advanced practitioner. Service improvement and development is encouraged and all staff have access to regular supervision and training.

This is an opportunity to work in a large established and supportive team in a beautiful part of the UK.
