Salaried GP required- Kingswood Health Centre

We are a friendly practice on the outskirts of Bristol, looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our team for up to6 sessions per week.

Details of the surgery and role
  • New purpose built building opened in late 2011
  • Currently 9 partners and4 salaried GP's
  • Current patient list size of 12,500 patients, and increasing
  • Training practice, currently with two doctor trainees
  • Opportunities to get involved with training of doctors
  • High elderly population, with a number of nursing/residential homes
  • Dedicated clinical pharmacist support every day of the week
  • Experienced Paramedic Practitioners to support on-calls and provide home visits
  • Excellent secretarial and admin support
  • 2018/19 QOF achievement of 100%
  • Experienced GP Partners (each with own special interest areas) offering support and mentorship, to encourage personal development and develop special interest areas
  • Occasional involvement with Extended Hours operating on alternate Saturdays
  • August 2016 CQC rating of good overall, with outstanding in 'Responsive to Patient's Needs'
  • EMISWeb & Docman systems, with excellent in-house IT support
  • Daily coffee meetings with all the clinical team to discuss cases and share ideas
  • Weekly MDT meeting with locality team
  • Monthly Practice and Clinical meetings, with quarterly Significant Event Meetings
  • 6 weeks annual leave, 1 week study leave (pro-rata)
