Education Fellow in Anaesthesia

Ysbyty Gwynedd Anaesthetic department is looking to recruit a Doctor in Anaesthesia with an interest in education to help deliver the undergraduate teaching programme to 3rd, 4th and 5th year medical students seconded to the hospital. The successful applicant will also be required to provide clinical anaesthesia services both in and out of hours. This is a temporary post of 12 months duration. The successful applicant will join a team of 10 Specialty Doctors, 16 trainees and 3 other clinical fellows working on our resident/on call rotas.

The post is for an average of 48 hours per week inclusive of on-call commitments. The posts involve participation in the resident 1 in 8 on call rotas either covering theatres, obstetric anaesthesia or ICU. Applicants will be expected to be able to work on at least two of these three rotas depending on departmental needs.
