Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Permanent - Full-time Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team. The post-holder will be required to provide the full range of obstetric and gynaecological skills including colposcopy within the multi-disciplinary team.There are 22 Consultants (including this post) that provide care within the Directorate of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

This post is based at University Hospital of North Midlands. Clinical Duties will be across both the Royal Stoke and County Hospital Sites.

The University Hospital is the main teaching hospital for the Keele University Undergraduate Medical School and there are close ties with the University of Keele and Staffordshire University.

The successful candidate will have MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification and have completed RCOG. The candidate will also have CCST or equivalent ('equivalence' must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of interview) and have entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of date of interview.
