EHV Project Manager - Up to £55,000 DOE - Bridgend, and on-site as required

The Role

We are looking for a talented and capable Project Manager to join our team based in Bridgend, travelling on-site as required to oversee the smooth running on our projects, performing quality and hygiene checks and contract compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly developing company.

The key responsibilities of a Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

Overseeing, managing and arranging subcontractors and contract labour, and managing supervisors and other support staff as required; resolving site issues in a timely manner
Ensuring toolbox talks and new company procedures are delivered to the workforce
Designing reviews and client ECI on allocated works
Overseeing programme works and setting targets with teams to ensure programmes are achieved or exceeded, and that margins are made
Providing monthly contract programme updates to clients, and monthly report reviews with the commercial team
Being involved in client liaison, meetings and business development
Tendering new works, raising EWNs and ensuring CE's are produced covering all additional scope works
Recording works and track sheets/day works as required, ensuring all plant and labour is accounted for on cost recoverable schemes
Being responsible for document control and recording of client meetings/interactions, with regular site and photo records taken on site and uploaded

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Project Manager:

Previous experience in a similar role (5 years+ desirable) and experience with projects of over £10 million in value; being degree qualified in a relevant field is desirable
Previous WPD EHV Experience, being a WPD authorized person (SSAC, LOAR (b), PTW (b) (c)) and SSE authorized person (cat 1c cat 2b cat 3a); SMSTS and NEBOSH is desirable
Excellent people management skills, able to communicate and manage the expectations of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
A Microsoft Suite expert with some programming experience
A commercially astute self-performer who is focused to a high degree on safety and output
